JoseJose Almonacid

Hi, I’m Jose — I use technology and business to createlasting value.

After years of building digital infrastructure, I’m expanding into SME brokerage and acquisitions — working with owners, investors, and advisors to strengthen companies and shape the next generation of businesses

My Story

Born and raised in Patagonia, where life is raw, beautiful, and humbling. That environment made me resilient, grounded, and resourceful.

Curiosity and ambition pushed me far beyond my hometown to study in Germany and the U.S. Later worked in Germany across technology, tourism, and consulting.

Moving between the corporate world, startups, and even a scaleup valued past €1 billion.

In those years, I wore many hats: consulting, sales, finance, and product management. This variety gave me a holistic view of how businesses operate.

From rigid corporate structure to the scrappy startup trenches. It also taught me how to navigate complexity and adapt to radically different contexts.

Today, I live on the Mediterranean coast of Spain with my wife Andreea. Together, we run 23harmony Studio, our product studio where we build and launch our own apps while partnering with selected entrepreneurs and organizations.

I'm a self-taught builder. My path didn't start in engineering. I was a multidisciplinary professional who taught himself how to design, build, and ship products.

That shift defines who I am today: not just someone who understands strategy, finance, and markets — but someone who can take an idea and bring it into the world.

But this isn't just about apps. It's about building smart digital infrastructure for the local economy to unlock opportunities that allow people to create, connect, and thrive to pursue a life of meaning they design.

Vision & Future

The best way to predict the future is to build it — piece by piece, starting yesterday. I reverse engineer my mid- and long-term goals into systems and habits that compound over time. This is the future I'm building:

2025

Evolution begins

By 2025, we're not just launching apps — we're preparing our first exit with Claseo. That unlocks a new stage: from just builders to owners who sell and reinvest.

2025

Education and sharing

This year we also launched a course to help people build successful businesses with AI in 2025. It's another path: education, systematizing what we've learned, and helping others replicate the builder's journey.

2025

Diversification

From SaaS to commerce, from community to education, from building to exiting. We're creating multiple income engines that compound together.

2026

The long arc begins

I'm launching my business brokerage practice. My focus: helping Spanish SME owners navigate succession and connecting them with investors who care about legacy and growth. This is the start of my journey into Private Equity, where I'll also build my first light syndicate.

2027

Syndicate growth

By 2027, I'll be structuring informal investor groups to acquire SMEs in Spain and DACH. My edge: an AI-native operating playbook that boosts profitability in under-digitalized companies. The goal is simple — acquire well, run smarter, exit stronger.

2028

Micro-PE operator

In 2028, I plan to formalize into a micro-PE platform. The vision: a portfolio of SMEs across Spain and DACH, each benefiting from shared AI-enabled operations. From brokerage to syndicate to micro-PE — the arc compounds. This is where long-term value creation truly begins.

Principles

How I see the world (and work):

Humility

No matter who someone is or where they come from, I value people who stay grounded and approachable.

Honesty & Authenticity

I don't follow trends or bullshit. I want people to see me as real, straightforward, and aligned with my own beliefs.

Accountability & Fairness

I believe in meritocracy and personal responsibility, but also in supporting those who need help.

Sustainability & Impact

Business is more than money and profit. For me, it's a vehicle to solve real problems, improve lives, and reduce harm to people and the planet.

Growth Through Struggle

Growth only happens through challenge and effort. Tough love, discipline, and enduring pain are part of the journey.

Service & Contribution

I want to help others discover their dreams, grow, and commit to change — but always in a way that demands their own effort and accountability.

Who I Help

I collaborate with builders, owners, and investors at different stages of the journey.

  • Early-stage founders: sparring on strategy, systems, and go-to-market.
  • Entrepreneurs building (or improving) a product: from MVPs to revamps — We take only one build/improvement project per quarter/semester (depending on scope) to ensure highest results.
  • SME owners (Spain/DACH): planning succession or looking to professionalize, digitalize, and optimize operations — for higher margins, lower costs, and smoother performance.
  • Investors & PE firms: a hands-on operator for hire — diligence, value creation, scouting, or contract-based support.

Fascinations

Things I can't stop thinking (or talking) about:

Building Engines of Value

Turning ideas into systems that scale. From apps to businesses, I'm obsessed with creating machines that generate real, lasting value.

The Economics of Tomorrow

Debt cycles, trade flows, and AI's impact on productivity — I love unpacking how macro forces shape opportunities at the micro level.

Business as a Vehicle for Freedom

Not just profit — but designing businesses that let people live fuller lives, pursue passions, and contribute to society sustainably.

Ownership & Transformation

Buying, selling, and optimizing companies isn't just financial engineering. For me, it's about unlocking potential in people, teams, and ideas.

If we ever meet, expect me to get very excited about any of these topics! You've been warned.

I've spent the last years building apps, systems, and businesses — from zero to market, from idea to product. My journey has always been about turning concepts into something real: products people use, ventures that generate value, and systems that make growth possible.

What started as design work grew into product engineering, then company-building. Along the way I learned how to launch fast, operate lean, and compound knowledge with every iteration. That mindset has shaped my studio, where technology and entrepreneurship meet to create scalable opportunities.

Today, my focus is shifting toward scaling ventures and preparing for the next chapter: acquiring, growing, and exiting businesses. This is the bridge from builder to investor — a long arc where entrepreneurship and private equity converge, and where I aim to design businesses that last and multiply.
